Me and my girlfriend visited The Minetta Tavern at 113  Macdougal Street NYC  early September 2019.

We first heard of the place from a Norwegian TV show called Truls á la Hellstroem, were the comedian, Truls Svendsen and the world famous chef Eivinnd Helstroem travel theworld and make food.

The Minetta is the chefs favouritt burgerplace in NYC, and then especially the «Black label burger".

We arrived there a Monday evening just when they opened.

Fantastic atmosphere and the place filled up with guests pretty fast.

I ate grilled oysters for starters, and then the famous Black Label burger as a maincourse.

The burger was the reason for the visit !

The meat was so thick, juicy and tender. It meltet on my tounge.

I order it medium rear, and it was perfect👌

The bread was fresh and crunchy and we got a lot of fries on the side.

On top of the meat there was a pile of Caramelized onion.

This burger is definetly the best burger i ever had.

So simple, so tasty, so juicy and you could really taste the flavour of the meat.

It's made of a selection of prime dry aged beef cuts.

The Minetta Taverns is really a fine dining place, and no burger shop, but it was nice to see how much people that actually ate burger!

For dessert we had the house chocolate suffle…..that was heaven❤

This place filles up fast, so order a table.

I will definatly be back here for this burger the next time i visit NYC❤
